Hi, I’m Chris Pullen, Founder of Blue Wave Property Strategies.
About me – I grew up in Geelong, Victoria and was lucky to attend Geelong Grammar School where my love of AFL and the Geelong Cats began. My hobbies include surf lifesaving, surfing, watersports, cycling, travel, cooking, bushwalks, live shows, movies and most things outdoors. When I can combine my passion for all things real estate with my hobbies I am at my best!
My working life started in hospitality, studying at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School at Leura NSW. I obtained an Advance Diploma in Hotel Management. I worked in some of the best hotels such as Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast running the cocktail bar and and cruise ships for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in the Caribbean.
I married a beautiful woman who I met while working on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. We married in Croatia, my wife’s home country. The church was a stunning 350 year old traditional Catholic Church, on the side of a hill looking out over the Croatian Islands. We have two beautiful children Luka 22 and Carlo 17, who both love playing soccer and watersports at the beach. We live in God’s country, Australia, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland and absolutely love it.
I have always had an intense underlying love for property and bought my first property, financed by a broking firm called Mortgage Choice. This interested me and about 18 months later I was working for the Mortgage Choice Franchise, which I now call my apprenticeship days. For 8 years I was in a business partnership in a large group of companies that encompassed property, finance, financial planning, accountancy, and corporate superannuation.
There comes a time when one wants to pursue a different direction, to be in complete control of his own business and when this hit me, I founded Blue Wave Property Strategies, a niche agency that sells, manages and structures investment properties. I want to inspire you to achieve your wildest dreams, educate you on the right property investments for your portfolio and empower you on your wealth journey. I look outside the box when showing you how to build a property portfolio, using any number of strategies that are tried and true now and used within my 20 years dedicated to the Real Estate industry.
Blue Wave Property Strategies has now morphed into a botique real estate company where we list, sell and manage property here on the Sunshine Coast, with our investment arm delivering great investment properties locally and around the country. As family is extremely important to me I am thrilled that my son, Luka has joined me as a Real Estate Agent and Marketer. Having established himself financially with property he now enjoys financial freedom, allowing him to play Football in Europe. Carlo has also expanded his horizons and set up Blue Wave Pressure Cleaning while studying to become an electrician.
